/DEACTIVATION PHASE
Deactivation phase
- All elements that may pose a potential risk to the environment or local populations are removed.
- The equipment is disassembled and as much of the waste as possible (such as metal and used oils) is recycled by companies authorised for that purpose.
- The foundations are covered by soil which is then biologically stabilised through hydroseeding; any exclusive wind turbine access roads are rendered unusable and undergo biological stabilisation by hydroseeding.
