Suppliers register
In order to improve our knowledge of current and future suppliers, we have created the EDP Group Suppliers Registration System.
The system works as a tool to browse, select and classify suppliers who work for the EDP group, registration being a requirement for those who wish to be approved and approached by EDP Renováveis. The procedure for the EDP Group’s purchases model is based on the Synergy Platform – Supply Integration for Energy, defined in the attached diagram:
Depending on the category of products and/or services supplied, the supplier must register in one of the levels indicated:
- Basic Level: Products and/or services that are not technically complex and that are easy to acquire. The information provided in this register is shared by the companies of the EDP group.
- Repro Level: Products and/or services that are strategic and/or are technically complex. The information provided in this register is also shared by the energy companies of Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
The Registration System (REPRO) has been developed along with the company Achilles, world information leader in purchases and hiring processes, with acknowledged experience in the management and classification of suppliers. Registration in RePro level implies that the documentation provided by the supplier will be followed up and validated and therefore requires payment of an administration fee.
