EDP Renováveis aims to reach long-term profitable growth through the consolidation of its position in the main geographical markets in which it operates, start-up in a selected, but diversified group of new geographical markets with high growth potential, and operate and look for growth opportunities in other renewable energy technologies.
EDP Renováveis aims to achieve and preserve stable and long-term leadership positions in the main markets in which it operates and also in any new geographical market or technology it moves into, since it deems this to be essential to its capacity to achieve and sustain its long-term profit earning capacity.
EDP Renováveis considers its capacity to achieve those goals to be significantly greater when it focuses its efforts on capturing and developing a limited number of opportunities that tie in well with and complement existing platforms, which allow the Company to leverage its principal technical competences.
